A masterclass in variety: The Canal Sprint, Woodhall Hills, The atmospheric trails of Calverley Woods where you’ll dodge not only roots but your fellow runners coming straight at you in the opposite direction, as half the field travel clockwise, whilst the other take on the course anti-clockwise in this truly unique event.

We are excited to unveil a brand-new 10km course for 2026! To perfectly complement our new mid-week evening slot at the Railway Inn, we’ve designed a route that brings you right back to the pub doors. Join us for an evening of racing and reward yourself with a well-deserved drink at the finish line.

The race starts and finishes at The Railway Inn. You run the course clockwise or anti-clockwise depending on the draw at the start of the race. The route has permanent blue/yellow and green footpath markers and will have extra pink markers added on the day of the event.

GETTING THERE / PARKING

If driving we strongly recommend parking on Calverley Lane situated just off the A6120. We recommend to avoid Calverley Bridge which is often full. Once parked The Railway Inn is a short walk over the river.

The Railway Inn has a place to lock your bike and is easily accessible via the Leeds Liverpool Canal so access by foot or bike is the best way to reach us.
