This Event is hosting a World Championship Standard Distance Duathlon Qualifier for the British Triathlon GB Age-Group Team.  Athletes must enter the race & also register their intent to qualify for the championship  by 5pm on the Friday before the qualifying race. Roadford Lake is a great venue for a duathlon with very quiet roads, traffic free trails & lots of space for transition & parking. Because it's a 10K run & a single loop bike, we are able to run this race starting in waves by age group a couple of minutes apart. The Sprint race will start an hour later to reduce traffic on the run course.
