This event was great. It was a really tricky day but the staff were incredible, really looked after us and made sure we were all okay. One member of staff noticed I hadn’t taken on fluids in a while and encouraged me to take some which was just so appreciated. The atmosphere was great and I’ll definitely look to do it again.

Terrific morning, the display board was brilliant, you just live for that reassuring display, lap after lap. Really enjoyed what would have been a dull session for me. Definitely do it again.

Definitely an unusual event, doing laps of a track for that distance, but actually I think I got to know most of the people going round and we all supported each other! Made some friends and of course the organisers were great!

What an incredible event! Sure, running 52 laps around the same track had its moments of monotony, but the experience was anything but dull. The community spirit was amazing, and the event crew were outstanding, always ready with encouragement and quick to hand me water just when I needed it. Every lap came with a cheer, and by the end I felt surrounded by people who truly get it. That sense of connection is a bond in itself, and one I’ll always treasure.

Congratulations to Freddom Leisure, ABC and Sporting UK in bringing this event to Ashford. It has the potential to be a great gateway for many into running. Please do it next year
