CAR PARKING IMPORTANT INFORMATION
There is ample parking for all in Stanley Park at the main car park adjacent to the main field.
IF YOU ARE TAKING PART IN THE 1 MILE FUN RUN then you will need to be in the park before 9.30am as there will not be access into the car park once the main 5K has started.
Access is near to the junction of Arkles Lane on Priory Road.
2024 will see the 10th hosting of the 97/5K which is a community based legacy event that remembers the 97 people who lost their lives at the Hillsborough stadium in 1989 and also those who survived that fateful day. The 5K fun now promotes the amazing work undertaken by four charites based in the local community namely the LFC Foundation, 23 Foundation, Everton In The Community and Junior Parkrun.
To commemorate the 10th event all runners will receive a special 'gold' medal which breaks with the standard traditional design of the last nine years.
The event rolls out on the last Saturday of the Premier League football season so runners have the exclusive use of Stanley Park which sits right between Goodison Park and Anfield.
This really is... A DAY TO REMEMBER!.
