Jolly good fun for a Pirate run.
Loved it was started with a cannon, although was expecting a bigger one. Would have been nice to run along the seafront both ways but loved the Pirates, the musket, the parrots etc great atmosphere.
Very well organised day
First 10k event
Very well organised and a great atmosphere. A big thank you to the marshals and volunteers!
Extremely well organised as always.
Great run was tough across the field track for the first half of the race but lovely and flat on the run back when legs are tired. Loved the staggered start as there was no pushing and shoving from the faster runners. Shame no bag drop off. Great for beginners. Medal was great and loved the pirates and the cannon start.
Flat with great pb potential
I was very surprised and happy to find the first half was on grass. Clearly hadn't read the course description and thought it was all on the top of the seawall. Had a great run despite the British weather being its typical self. Although great weather for pirating I'm led to believe...
Enjoyable race with great organisation.
Thanks to all the marshals and other volunteers!
Brilliant Sunday run by sea
Just needed better weather
No better way to spend a Sunday morning
Really enjoyed the event, thank you very much
Sporting Events uk races are the best!
This is a fabulous, fun event with a lovely route. All the marshals are encouraging and the medal was top quality. Well done all involved
2nd time running this and once again enjoyed it
Well organised race but would have liked to have seen a list of prize winners, I could only find the results. Also does any of the entry fee go to charity?
Great 10k race
Really enjoyed this race. Lovely, almost flat course. Good facilities. Great marshalls. Great medals.
Very well organised
Really enjoyable event!
Great event with all the pirates, parrots and canons going off. Very well organised, friendly and enjoyable.
Enjoyable, well organised event
A good race just needed better weather!!
Loved it, parrots in hoodies!
Is there the potential to change the route, first 5k on the sea wall second on the trail that way we could be shielded from the wind when tired? Or create some sort of huge massive wind barrier
Lovely run, well organised
The outward 3 miles was tough going underfoot - any reason for not running on the path?
