The South Downs 100 miles, is a single loop trail race through the beautiful South Downs National Park. Runners will begin at the fantastic venue of Plumpton Racecourse before encountering an iconic and beautiful but challenging route. There is over 12,000 ft of elevation, with rolling hills, stunning views, 12 aid stations and a 34 hour cutoff time. There will also be free onsite camping over the weekend.

The 100 mile race will form part of the South Downs Triple Crown. This is a new challenge that runners can chose to enter and it will begin in 2025. This will consist of completing 3 of our ultra distance races within the calender year. There are 4 different variations of the Triple Crown that can be chosen.
