The UK Ultra South Downs event is made up of 4 different races through the iconic South Downs National Park in the South East of England.The courses are all point to point, in stunning locations, on non technical, runnable trails with views to die for, making them ideal for runners and walkers of all abilities.

The routes are stunning but challenging and, at some point all merge together to cross over the famous white cliffs of Beachy Head and end in the same location in Eastbourne.The races are designed so that the majority of runners finish closely together which makes for a memorable finish line experience for participants and supporters. We promise quite a party with race commentary, food, music, massage and drinks in a beautiful setting. All routes are fully marked with regular, well stocked aid stations manned by our amazing volunteers. 

The event takes place on Saturday May 23rd 2026 with all races on beautiful but challenging routes with a mixture of faster, runnable parts but, also hillier sections at times. The views and scenary however will make it all worthwhile.

The 100k race will form part of the South Downs Triple Crown. This is a new challenge that runners can chose to enter and it will begin in 2025. This will consist of completing 3 of our ultra distance races within the calender year. There are 4 different variations of the Triple Crown that can be chosen.
