Like the new set up the HQ and the finish line. Not sure why you still give out t shirts I would like the cost of the race to be reduced with no T shirts

Well organised and marshalled. The event HQ change was a good idea

I felt lucky to have got a place, clearly a very popular run. In a way, it feels like an extended version of Whitstable Parkrun. I was a little surprised at the outward bound part of the course using the normal public pavements and almost at the 5k point running straight onto the road, that was not closed with traffic running as usual, with no warning of this or Marshalls to supervise. Runners were either running directly on the road stopping traffic or crossing the road onto the pavement. This was while we looped to then run along the Coastal Path at the 5k point and head back to the finish line. This needs some attention for next time or a rethink.

First time here, great run. It was well marshalled with lots of encouragement received by marshalls, spectators and other runners.
The wave spacing worked really well, I was in wave 5.
Only issue was the cost of parking!

This is always one of my favourite running events of the year. It’s very well organised and I like the new team hq area - although it did get busy. The weather makes this event feel very different no matter how many times you do it - today the wind was thankfully light.

In previous years, I’ve usually received a result by text shortly after finishing. That didn’t happen today.

I was not notified of my time

First time doing this (although I live in Whitstable) and found the marshalling and overall organisation was fantastic. Great fun vibe and will definitely be booking for next year. Thank you!

Great organisation, great route, loved running by the sea, and would recommend.

Convenient parking in Gorrell Tank Carpark. Plenty of helpful volunteers. Lots of cafes after the run as well. The waves, with just a few minutes between each one, works well.

Only minor difficulty is around Welseley Ave where cars are moving around runners. Overall a great, fast course.

Only observation was the waves...I got caught up trying to get passed slower people at the start of the race. That said, I'm pretty sure a huge amount of runners predict an optimistic 1hr, so there needs to be a few waves for those of us in that category. At the end of the day, I was running for me, did a fab time and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Sporting events at their finest- been doing event for over 12 years - hope to do another 12!!!… has a mini London marathon atmosphere feel - so nice to see so many people lining the route

Bag drop could have been signposted more clearly. I didn’t use it but helped several people who were looking to find it

Didn’t get a text with time for some reason . The people that finished earlier than us did. Apart from that small thing everything else was perfect.

Free street parking and toilets near start line. Well managed admin and well marshalled throughout. Last 5k is pancake flat along the scenic seafront and provides a quality medal with technical tee. Great value.

Poor organisation and pre race instructions sent us to the wrong location for registration. Marshals at the start are too vigilant on wave starts ignoring the fact that entries were done months ago and things happen causing people to want to drop back, yet this was frowned upon. There was no way to update predicted times based on recent fitness and we were made to feel like criminals for wishing to drop back due to changes in fitness.
