This was my first time running with Sporting Event and I really enjoyed it.
I really enjoyed this event it was my first time and it was a well organized event and a nice place to run along the coast. The staff were very helpful and I can’t fault anything about it, I will be back next year but hope to do other events this year. Thank you

A shame the toilets were limited but the Tesco nearby was east enough to access for those who arrived early enough
It would be lovely to have something ti refuel at the end - an electrolyte drink rather than just water or a protein bar or even just some sweets. Other organisers often do this and it is always appreciated!
Bonus of A great playpark for children waiting for running parents
Thanks for the really great review. We had High5 electrolyte drinks at the end as well as water. Sorry if you missed that.
For an out and back course, it's quite good. Views over the Thames made it interesting for me

Great event well organised and lots of people to help, lots of Marshalls, and good explanation of the route to each individual wave.

I didn’t receive an email or text with my results. I had to look it up.
Also I made a mistake with my estimated time I put down. So I emailed and I didn’t get a response.
Unfortunately you sent the email about the mistake with the estimated time you supplied at 6:45pm on the Friday night before the event on the Sunday. There would have been no-one in the office at that time and the race packs already packed, sorted and marked for your wave. It's not possible to make changes that close to the event. You didn't complete the question on your entry for supplying your number for an SMS results text, so the system didn't have it to send. We are really glad you enjoyed the event though.

Amazing by the sea
island run 10k - lovely flat course with amazing views
My second time returning to this event and is just as impressive as the first time, great organisation and amazing volunteers cheering you on around the course. The course itself is beautiful views and mostly flat with a couple of minor inclines so definitely suitable for beginners and fast course as well if looking for a PB. Lovely weather helped make this a fantastic event as well and the beautiful medal, I’ll certainly be back next year.
Very friendly super organised run
It was great from arrival to departure. Everyone was super friendly, on course marshall were encouraging and there were lots of them. Fellow runner we're friendly and supportive.
Great sea views, sunshine and beautiful sea breeze today to add a cherry on top of a brilliant event.
Lovely run by the sea, flat and fast, perfect for a PB. Supportive marshals. The only negative is that we didnt get any goodies at the end

What a fabulous event!
My first Island Run and I very much enjoyed it. Fellow runners were all lovely, had a nice little chat as we were running along. The Marshalls were fantastic, happy, smiling, supportive and informative! What a great bunch!

First time
First time running the event and well organised. Liked the touch of organised alphabet for signing in which made process fast. Start was prompt and easy to understand and plenty of marshalls along the way encouraging and grateful for the water stop
