Epic run, Marshalls were amazing & views were amazing

Feed stations could be better, more savoury food choices was only down side

Excellent

Please put in another feed or water station at 28 miles. The toilets at Walkworth were blocked but that’s unavoidable as only 2.
But honestly amazing. Can you inject that atmosphere to 4 reservoirs ultra as it felt lonely at times as no people around me for long stretches.

Coosty coastal ultra

Stunning trail ultra following English coastal path from Bamburgh to Druridge Bay.

So inclusive for all abilities, great camraderie and support!

Equally spaced check points well stocked with variety of supplies! And adequate toilets facilities too

Beautiful scenery

The views and the marshals make this event, really friendly/helpful, and thanks to the marshal who even offered to help open my electrolyte packet when I was struggling and losing time at the first water station. The only let down was the porta loos at the start line - just 7 loos, the queue was massive so that added a little bit of stress. And it would have been a 'nice to have' some orange segments or water melon at the food stations which I'd been craving all the way around but the coke was great and did the trick :)

Really good first trail run. Loved the route

Couldn’t fault the organisation, feed stations, and the route at all. It was a great day definitely helped by the weather too. Amble was very busy but there were plenty marshals helping out. Only thing is it was advertised as a long sleeve tee which would’ve been unique but it was short sleeve.

Very well organised event in a stunning location

The route was clearly marked and very well supported by Marshalls and supporters alike. A verry scenic run on a perfect weather running day. Very well done to all the team and especially for all the volunteers cheering you on along the way. Great atmosphere at the finish line.

Fantastic event

Brilliant organisation, stunning scenery, great atmosphere, well marshalled and easy to navigate, good choice at feed stations and nice to get a t-shirt and medal at the end. Couldn’t ask for more at this price point, excellent value and a rememberable event

Friendly team, good ultra for beginners.

A doable ultra course for beginners/first timers. Narrow and a little challenging in places. Beautiful coastal scenery and historic castles make this a very picturesque run.

Amazing event with an amazing route

This was our first ever running event and it was a fab experience (tough at times but brilliant) The whole event was well organised and it was lovely to see locals out supporting us along the way. We will definitely be signing up to more events in the future. Thanks for a great day!!

Great event and stunning views

Great event, organised well but more toilets at the start is a must, 7 toilets wasnt enough.
Feed stations were good but a lot of things i couldnt stomach so carried my own food and snacks. Route was good, Amble wasnt great as found it very busy and people wouldnt move when you politely asked them to and could see runners, slowed down a lot of people. Lovely medal, tshirt sizes were spot on and snacks were great. Overall fab event

Fantastic event

First ultra in the bag - amazing course/scenery and we couldn't have been luckier with the weather.

Incredibly well run event (as all Wild Deer events are). Smooth transitions on the coaches from finish to start, registration was efficient and quick, and the staggered start was flowing. All marshalls were very encouraging and gave me a boost each time. Lots of photoagrahers out on the course to capture some epic backdrops. Feed stations were very well stocked and evenly spaced out.

Thank you for making my first ultra unforgettable.
