Well organised, highlighted route, Marshall are very friendly and give lots of good praise, it a joy full event, nice flat route. In fact the route this year was better than last.
Good scenic route, the route was very good to follow, sporting events are well organised, safe, good, supportive, friendly team, and all Marshalls have good encouragement and keep everyone cheered on, well done, a short route, probably a lot harder, but plenty of fun, and rememorable. Smashing medal for keeps as well

Fantastic run around the unique streets of Canterbury culminating in a grandstand finish at the cathedral. The shorter distance provided a race for some and a lower barrier for others, great to see so many young people participating.
Very well organised event in a lovely setting. One not to be missed.

Loved this event, great start & end points
Overall loved this event, great start & end points, great toilet facilities (beating portaloos!) would definitely do this race again.
At the finish line it felt a bit abrupt to try slow yourself down before the medals / people undoing your chip tokens were there, it would be good to have this slightly further back to allow for an easier finish. Signs with how far you have left to run (400m or 200m to go) would have been helpful.
The corners were quite narrow with the fencing - I appreciate you need to close it off & leave space for members of the public, but a few of the corners were sharp for going at any speed.
Great event for the first one & hope it stays around!
A fun event running through the City
Regarding the presentation, it would have been nice if the age category winners could have been presented with their trophies after the race had finished along with the overall winners. I think I have won my age category, will you post the trophy to me ?

Thanks for the great review. With all the swaps runners made in waves, it wasn't possible to do the age category presentations. Something we can adapt for next time.
great location to have a mile event that any age and ability can run
Very well done for a first running of this event. Could become a fixture as the route is great with a stunning finish!
Would have preferred more people in a wave, to feel more part of a mass event, within reason taking location into account
Announce timing of prize giving and donut earlier so that more people are around to celebrate the success of the winners
Good event and well put together by the team. I thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to do it next year. Feedback would be to maybe make the corner funnels wider if possible as were quite narrow and could possible have signs saying how far left e.g 400 to go
It would be cool to have a similar event at the ashford outlet if that was possible to organise
Wonderful city run
This was a fantastic short-distance race that really pushed you to find your rhythm early and keep up the pace. The route was packed with great scenery to take in along the way, and the event village had a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere that made the whole experience even better.

Fabulous run with the distance perfect on a hot day.
Friendly, good organisation and a lovely route through Canterbury city centre. The buildings gave plenty of shade and the marshalls were encouraging all the way. Look forward to next year!

loved the race and the organisation was fab. Only downfall in this event results were not live, and still awaiting official time
Thanks for the great review. We were delayed publishing the results due to the large numbers of people who changed waves. We had to make all those adjustments before we could put online. All there now (as at 4:30pm).
