The ferry runs from 8.30am and 6.30pm on both days.

The clock will stop and we will deduct the crosing time from your overall time at the finish.

You just need to show your race number to gain entry

Where can I leave my car?

We encourage lift shares to all of our events but you can leave your car overnight at the public car park in Aveton Gifford which is free. A transport option will be offered closer to the time and we will send out links either to purchase a ticket or for a free shuttle to the start.

Can you tell us more about the ferry crossings?

The ferry crossing currently runs every 30 minutes from 8.30am. For runners who arrive before this, there will be an alternative crosisng provided which our CP marshals will help you with. We are in touch with the ferry providers and have asked that our runners can gain priority boarding. The clock will stop upon arrival and start again on disembarking.

The South Hams Way GPX, has some slight variations due to the start/finish locations and Flete Estate permissions, which we have had exclusive rights to but which the official South Hams Way does not adhere to. We have also avoided the Avon estuary crossing, as runners will finish in Aveton Gifford (eastern side) and start5 at mount filolly Farm (western side) in order to avoid an unwelcome swim!

The Dartmoor sections are now identical, as we have decided to follow the SHW's new variations (version 9!), which takes runners on the southern flank of the moor (Puffing Billy Track) towards Moorhaven, rather than north towards Spurrell's Cross.

**Please note: you can no longer pay for additional parking at Morrisons in Totnes, which would have previously been the case. Morrisons only permits free parking for two hours**

You can pay to park all day in North St, Totnes TQ9 5NQ
Or in Steamer Quay Rd, Totnes TQ9 5AL
Alternatively, you can leave your car in Babbage Rd on Totnes Industrial Estate at your own risk (there are no parking bays but locals leave their cars here all the time)
